WARNING: Unplug the power cord before beginning. Electric shock and injury may occur if the power cord is connected to an electrical outlet. Read these instructions completely before beginning.

To replace the eddy mechanism or the drive belt, first disconnect the resistance cable. Then, loosen the idler enough to loosen the drive belt.

If you are replacing the eddy mechanism, skip to the tip for removing the bracket. To remove the drive belt, first remove the screws and the inner disc cover. Then, remove the shoulder screw and the inner disc.

Remove the locknut from the bolt. Lift and remove the crank. CAUTION: Be careful not to let the crank spin out of position. Then, remove the drive belt from the pulley.

Remove the four locknuts and the four bracket bolts from the bracket. Lift out the bracket, eddy mechanism, and drive belt. IMPORTANT: If you try to remove the eddy mechanism without removing the bracket from the frame, you will damage the bracket.

When reattaching the bracket, remember to position the drive belt over the eddy mechanism before it goes into the bracket.
