1. Make sure the machine is not running before you get on it.
2. Use the safety rails when getting on or off, or changing speeds.
3. Attach the safety key to your clothes.
4. Do not go past a comfortable speed.
5. Look forward, not at your feet.
6. Never step off of a moving treadmill. Wait for it to stop before you step off.
7. Make sure the treadmill is moving smoothly, not erratically.
