Matrix Fitness Treadmills Console Troubleshooting Keypad/Heart Rate

SYMPTOM:

1. The keypad does not function/ The keypad function not match screen display.
2. The screen can not display heart rate pulse.

 

SOLUTION:

1. The console cable is not connected improperly;
   - Remove the console mast and check to see if the console upper cable and lower is connected well.
2. Poor connection to the terminals on the lower control board and upper control board.
   - Remove the side cover and unplug and plug in wires to see if the terminals are connected well.
3. Check continuity of keypad connector with AOV meter to verify keypad is working properly.
   - Check continuity of heart rate metal to verify that heart grips are working properly.
